Michigan Man Arrested for Child Abuse, 19-month-old toddler in Critical Condition

The child’s mother returned home from work Thursday and found the child unresponsive and with severe injuries.

Michigan State Police from the Mount Pleasant Post descended on the township of Evart and quickly arrested the 20-year-old boyfriend.  

The child was airlifted to DeVos Children’s Hospital and has undergone several surgeries but remains in critical condition.
